Dammam - The King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA) has exempted five types of passengers crossing the causeway to Bahrain from paying PCR laboratory test fees.


  He is a recognized diplomat and his family.  Returning from official mission;  Foreign military personnel on government missions and their families.  Returning from treatment at the expense of the Ministry of Health and their colleagues, And participants in clinical trials of the COVID-19 vaccine in Bahrain.


  Children under the age of six are exempt from laboratory testing.


  The authority stressed the importance of following healthcare guidelines for Bahraini citizens and travelers from Saudi Arabia to enter Bahrain.


  They need to undergo a PCR test to verify that they are free of coronavirus before arriving in Bahrain or any of the Bahraini or Saudi laboratories approved by Bahrain, and the result of the PCR test for 72 hours.  It Will is suitable or they will have a PCR test.  Upon arrival in Bahrain at the cost of SR400.


  The authority said the PCR test is accepted through its mobile application "Mujtama Y" or through an official Saudi Arabian smartphone application for travelers whose test results are negative.  Original PCR certificates issued by Bahraini or Saudi laboratories are also accepted.


  The KFCA said that passengers without a PCR test document must undergo a PCR test in a designated area of ​​the causeway, and the examination fee can be paid on arrival in cash or by debit or credit card.
