  King of Saudi Arabia, trustee of two mosques approves aid package for Hajj and Umrah


King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, the custodian of two mosques, has approved a package of incentives for individuals and companies financially affected by the suspension of pilgrims due to the Corona epidemic.

Approved benefits include the following:


 1. Exemption in annual fee for municipal commercial activity licenses for residential companies for a period of 1 year in Makkah and Madinah.


  2. Private sector companies operating in Hajj and Umrah sector will be exempted from payment of fees imposed on migrant employees. The period of exemption will be 6 months.


 3. The renewal of the license of the Ministry of Tourism for accommodation companies at no charge in Makkah and Madinah may be extended for one year.


 4: The renewal fee for accommodation in activities related to Hajj and Umrah will be deferred for months, this amount should be paid in installments over a period of one year.



 

 5: Increase the use of buses operated by companies to carry passengers for free for one year.


  6. The collection of customs duty on new buses running during the next Hajj season will be postponed for 3 months, the amount starting from the due date will be paid in installments over 4 months.


 7: The Saudi government has launched more than 150 billion initiatives, with more than 180 billion Saudi riyals allocated to address the effects of the Kuwait 19 epidemic, and individuals, the private sector and capital  To reduce its impact on cars.
