 Riyadh:The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that domestic pilgrims between the ages of 18 and 70 will be allowed to perform Umrah, saying that this is in accordance with the directive issued by the Ministry of Health, which is one of the precautionary measures and precautionary protocols.  As part of preventing the spread of the corona virus.


 It states that the beneficiaries of the Atmarna application can repeat Umrah after the expiration of the existing permit.  In case of revocation of the previous license, a new license may be issued at the earliest available opportunity.  "According to the existing rules, bookings can be made every 15 days for the issuance of Umrah permit. The ministry said that bookings can be made on a daily basis through the application and the transport service is optional.


 Citing reports of non-provision of reservations for Umrah through the application, the ministry clarified that due to the density of the number of users of the application, it had to be booked in a few minutes due to over 2 million users.  Required.


 The ministry said it was in the third phase of a gradual restoration of the Umrah service, which began in November.  1, 2020.  Both foreign and domestic pilgrims are allowed to perform Umrah from the beginning of this phase, as well as visit the Prophet's Mosque and Radha Sharif.
