 The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia explained that the authenticity of the passport is an important condition during departure.

 The response came after a Jawazat inquired, and asked: "Should the passport be renewed for final exit ? Our passport is one and a half months away."

 The official passport (Jawazat) account responded via Twitter, saying, "As per the instructions, the passport will be valid at the time of departure. Final exit visa can be issued through our electronic services, provided the remaining validity of the resident expat passport is 60 days or more." Is more

 Regarding a resident's travel, the Jawazat said, "A resident can travel through a carrier after booking. A valid visa and a valid travel document are required to travel in compliance with the destination entry regulations.
