RIYADH - Shopping malls and markets in Saudi Arabia will remain open as long as community members take strict security measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus, Commerce Ministry spokesman Abdul Rahman al-Hussein said Thursday.  ۔  .

Addressing a press conference on the COVID-19 updates, Al-Hussein noted that the Minister of Commerce and Local Government and the Minister of Housing and Rural Affairs held a meeting with more than 370 owners of shopping malls and other commercial facilities where  He highlighted the importance of health restrictions.  Protocols, controls, and responsibilities.

In addition, he said, the ministry's monitoring teams are continuing with their inspection visits, they have recently found more than 120,000 rounds and ten violations per hour.

 Al-Hussein urged consumers to report violations to the authorities.
