The Masjid Nabawi should be closed half an hour after Taraweeh and opened 2 hours before Fajr prayers as per Ramadan 2021
The Masjid Nabawi Agency Agency unveiled its operational plan for Ramadan this year, which was inaugurated by Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, General President of the Grand Masjid and Masjid Nabawi Affairs.
This year's Ramadan plan includes programs for the months of Sha'ban and Ramadan, goals, alternatives, emergency and crisis management, implementation of preparations during the month of Ramadan, and the blessed days of Eid al-Fitr.
All of the information and goals in the plan were kept in increasing comparison between the months before Ramadan, and in ways that take into account the impact of programs and goals with emerging directions and intensity of movement. The agency revealed that the Masjid al-Nabawi will close half an hour after Taraweeh prayers, and will reopen two hours before Fajr prayers, with the exception of the last 10 days of Ramadan.
Since the mosque is open 24 hours a day, the worshipers are allowed to offer prayers in the Prophet's Mosque, its roof and its squares according to the density-based reconstruction plan and the application of precautionary measures during this time. The month of Ramadan, and the performance of prayers inside the old campus and the esteemed kindergarten is being reserved for the employees of the Prophet's Mosque and those attending the funeral prayers.
