Exit re-entry visa and final exit visa within 10 days
Landmark Labor Reform (LRI) is in force in the country from today. As a result, relations between employees and employers in Saudi Arabia will improve.
Also, once the application is submitted, the exit re-entry visa and final exit visa will be activated in 10 days.
The employer will have 10 days to inquire about the employee who has applied for the exit re-entry visa.
If the employer is unable to respond to the application within 10 days, the employee or applicant will be able to issue the same visa for a period of 30 days within five days after the expiration of this deadline.
However, the employee will be unable to issue either a final exit visa or multiple exit re-entry visas and a final exit visa upon the expiration of the employment contract with the employer. The employer is also not allowed to revoke the exit and rentary visa issued by the foreign worker.
Under the new rules, the employer will have a 10-day period in which employees will be asked to apply for a final exit visa, and in the event of no response from the employer, the foreign final Exit can issue a visa, and the visa will be valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
If the expatriate worker leaves the country permanently (KSA) during the period of the ratification of the contract, he will be barred from returning to the country permanently.
This is the case when he obtains an exit re-entry visa and does not return to the country before the visa expires to fulfill the remaining term of the work contract.
If a expatriate leaves Saudi Arabia and leaves on an exit re-entry visa and cannot return to the kingdom before the visa expires, then the employer has the full right to extend the visa.
