Riyadh - Saudi Customs on Monday issued a statement dismissing rumors circulating on social media about regulation of car imports by the public.

 Riyadh - Saudi Customs on Monday issued a statement dismissing rumors circulating on social media about regulation of car imports by the public.

 Customs said the rules stipulate that Saudi and Gulf nationals have the right to import two vehicles a year.

 However, foreigners are entitled to import only one vehicle in the private sector every three years.

 Customs sources urged all members of the community to be accurate in circulating the news and rely on reliable and official sources to verify the authenticity of any information.
